I owe you an update. Clifton Chatterbox has been pretty dormant recently. No new issues. Emails not responded to! What's going on Chatterbox? Is the mute button on?!?!?!
Chatterbox is still going strong and chatty as ever. Just ask Clare Pirie! I'm in there almost everyday chatting her head off while drooling over all the stuff she has in her store. Haven't been yet? Heresy! I digress!
Clifton Chatterbox is moving back to the Big Smoke, the Square Mile, the City - Londres, Landan, Londra - LONDON!
But that in no way means that Clifton Chatterbox is being shelved - it just means we're going to get bigger. We're going to really show the world what Clifton has to offer! We will also explore all the London spots and digs that have a Clifton edge to it.
When is this happening? Soon! If not this weekend, the weekend after.
So but the first week of August, we will have a new issue go live and be back in business!
Until then, drop me and email if you have something Cliftonian to say!

Windows and Doors on Walls
I moved to my flat a little over two years ago and while I have purchased some pieces and re-arranged here and there, I am yet to put my all in my living space. Well the time has come! Since I started Clifton Chatterbox, I have met so many amazingly creative people and through them been exposed to beautiful things. It is this inspiration that is pushing me to liven up my space.
So I am going to share my thoughts and desires with you and ultimately my purchases, ideas and end result in the next few months. I don't want to rush.
So let me start with my fascination with using old windows and doors (and frames) as wall art. Imagine filling that empty wall with an old door or a pair of old window frames That's what I wanna do! Here are a few beauties that I found online that are inspiring me to get my windows on!

I ♥ Chopsticks
My grandfather was Chinese...born and bred, although he spent most of his life till its end in Trinidad and Tobago. I feel closest to my chinese heritage and with a surname like Eng Leang, it's not that hard to forget.
I love eating with chopsticks. Such a simple representative of an intricate culture that dates back to 1700BC other than can be argued. Chopsticks are also good for ensuring that you don't shovel food into your mouth the way forks and spoons encourage us to do. Therefore eating with chopsticks can help you lost weight.
I own several pairs of chopsticks and I am always on the lookout for a new pair to swoon over. Here are a few to catch my eye recently.

I ♥ Numbers
For some reason, I am fixated with numbers. 3 is my favourite number and I got married on January 1st, 2001 so my wedding date is 01.01.01. When I start taking photos, I starting shooting numbers. I am also obsessed with vintage number prints, plaques, signs etc. Here are a few that I have shot in Clifton Village. Recognise any?

I ♥ Work Chic
What I miss the most about working in an office...is dressing for work. Having worn dresses or skirts less than 10 times in my adult life, I am a pants girl. Trousers. Slacks. Whatever you call them...I love them. Being an inch shy of 6 feet tall, finding the right fit for my long yet slender frame, isn't always easy in this pear-shaped arena I live in but when I find them....they're good.
Then they're shirts and shoes. Why go on...I will show you what I mean!

J'adore kimonos
I've always hated my arms....the length of them I mean. I have the wing span of a pterodactyl and have only embraced them recently. Three quater sleeves tend to work well and there are some great kimono pieces out there that will do just that. Here are two of my favs...
